Amanda & Nick were married at Kitchen Chicago. I was at the venue about a month earlier for Megan & Forest‘s reception, so I was excited to see the space set up for a ceremony.
I started with Amanda at the salon, then we walked back across the street to their new apartment where the kitchen had been turned into a cupcake factory. Despite all the craziness going on around them, Nick and Amanda were totally laid back while getting ready. When they were dressed we went outside to catch a cab and head downtown for some portraits of the two of them. We had a great time exploring the area around the Trump Tower Hotel before taking another cab to Kitchen Chicago.
Amanda & Nick definitely made the wedding day their own, which I always love, so I wasn’t surprised to see them walk down the aisle together during the ceremony. The ceremony featured some really great readings from their siblings and an a cappella singing performance by their friends.
After the ceremony and dinner, Nick got to wear one of those cupcakes I mentioned. Then it was time for dancing! Thanks for being so easy to work with, it was great hanging out with you all day!
