Bridgeport Art Center is quickly becoming one my most booked wedding venues, which is great with me because I love it there! But I’m getting ahead of myself…
Jennifer & Jeremy started their wedding day at W Chicago – City Center hotel. I spent the morning with Jen and her sisters and friends while they got ready. Justin was with Jeremy and the guys. Jen & Jeremy asked for a few portraits near the Board of Trade before the ceremony, which worked great because it was right around the corner from their hotel. We found a tucked away spot on LaSalle for a first look. I loved watching Jeremy spin Jen around to see the whole dress. From there, we headed into the street to make some pictures with the classic background before it was time for them to get married!
The ceremony, at Assumption Catholic Church in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, was filled with many beautiful moments. Following the ceremony and formal family photos, the wedding party headed to LaSalle Street Bridge for a full wedding party picture – another Chicago classic. Jen & Jeremy were even brave enough to climb up atop the metal structure for an epic shot down the river. We made one more stop at North Ave. Beach with the wedding party before it was time to head down to Bridgeport Art Center.
I don’t always post a lot of detail photos on the blog, but I snuck a few in from this one. After being announced in, Jen & Jeremy listened to some very fun toasts. After dinner, Jen shared a sweet dance with her dad and Jeremy danced with his mom before their first dance as a married couple. After the dance floor opened up, Jen’s sorority sisters sang her a song. Apparently it’s a tradition that I hadn’t seen until now, but I loved it.
Justin and I had a great time documenting your day from start to finish, thanks so much for letting us be part of it!
