I met Erin at Chris at the historic Green Mill cocktail lounge in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood. We chatted with some of the regulars for a bit over a drink before we wandered to the back to find Al Capone’s favorite booth. We left Green Mill, to walk over under the El tracks at the Lawrence Ave. CTS station.
After a quick cab ride down Lake Shore Drive we made our way through the southern part of Lincoln Park en route to North Avenue Beach. We were able to get a good variety of light as the sun went down, which is why I always like shooting during the last hour of daylight. Once the sun set, we were able to shoot some night photos with the beautiful skyline in the background.
Looking forward to working with you both again next June!
