Alison & Todd were married at Hyatt Chicago Magnificent Mile. My morning started with Alison in one of the best bridal suites I’ve been in. I guess that’s the bonus when you’re getting married at the hotel! Since Todd was getting ready just a few floors away, I was able to bounce back and forth.
After their first look, we headed a few blocks south near the Wrigley Building for portraits. We walked along the riverfront to a small park area around the Trump hotel.
Alison & Todd’s ceremony was beautiful. I loved the huge smile on Alison’s father as he walked her down the aisle. It was almost as big as Todd’s! One of the flower girls took a front row seat on the stage. That was pretty cute too.
After being announced, Alison & Todd headed straight for the dance floor for their first dance. Alison’s father, Todd’s brother Troy and Alison’s sister Andrea all gave great toasts. Then Alison danced with her dad and Todd danced with his mom before the dance floor opened up for everyone.
Katie at Designer Event Chicago kept everything moving seamlessly throughout the day. It was such a pleasure to document Alison & Todd’s wedding. Thanks again for letting me be part of it!
