I met Katie & Kevin at Montrose Beach for their engagement session. It’s one of the more underrated Chicago engagement locations, with a good mix of green space and skyline views.
After drinks at The Dock we started on our walking tour, beginning with the bird sanctuary area. We continued out onto the pier and then made our way back to the other side for the skyline view.
After an outfit change, we walked back to a large hill that I later found out is called “Cricket Hill.” We got some great golden hour light and a nice blue twilight sky as we finished shooting with the Chicago night skyline in the background.
