I met Catherine and Matt and their dog, Rocky, in Lincoln Park for their fall engagement photos. With a destination wedding in Michigan it was important to capture some of Chicago’s iconic skyline during their engagement session.

We started with a simple stroll through the park from West (Stockton Drive) to East (Lakeshore) with stops at the popular places like the Bridge over South Pond and the long grasses near the “beehive” pavilion. From there, we handed off Rocky to a friend and continued on toward North Ave. Beach.

As I’ve said before, It’s my personal favorite view of the skyline and it’s always fun to find new photos to make out there. As the sun started to set we traveled downtown to Wells Street Bridge for a few “blue hour” twilight photos on the River.

I had an awesome afternoon and evening with these two (and Rocky!) Thanks for sharing your time with me, Catherine and Matt!
