I met with Bridget and Patrick at the location where they shared dinner the night they got engaged – Marge’s Still. This little section of Old Town is a gem, with many buildings dating to the 1880s! After chatting over beers for a bit, we headed east toward the Lincoln Park.
During our walk we found some classic Chicago brick and ivy walls. Once at Lincoln Park we walked the boardwalk around the South Pond. Lincoln Park is one of my favorite engagement photo locations in Chicago. I love how you can be surrounded by trees and nature, while still seeing the skyline in the distance.
Bridget and Patrick changed outfits and we picked up again along the Riverwalk and at Wells Street Bridge. The sun was setting fast so we made our way back to finish at North Ave. Beach. Chicago was really showing off with an incredible purple-ish dusk.
