Before I even heard about Amy & Eric’s wedding plans, they shared a vision of an engagement session at Olive Park with their dog, Ty(phoon.) It’s their neighborhood park and they love taking Ty for walks there so I was happy to spend the afternoon with them at one of their special spots.

Olive Park can be a challenging lighting scenario especially before sunset. My assistant Laura was a huge help as usual making many of these photos. After we finished up with Ty we walked back to their condo for an outfit change.

The light started getting really nice as we walked down Michigan Ave. toward the riverwalk. It’s always a bit of a dance waiting on people to move out of the way. But Amy & Eric were patient with the pedestrians and I think it really paid off.

I’m already looking forward to Amy & Eric’s wedding next year at the Museum of Science and Industry.
