Jean and Jack were married at Salvatore’s Restaurant in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.
I started the morning with Jean and her bridesmaids getting ready at her home. Justin started with Jack at the Ritz Carlton downtown. Once everyone was finished getting ready we did two first looks – one with Jean’s father and brother, and one with Jack of course – in in the park across from the Ritz Carlton and south of the MCA. The couples pup met us for a few portraits there before we left for Lincoln Park.
At Lincoln Park we shot all the group photos and a few more portraits with Jean and Jack before heading to Salvatore’s.
Officiated by the Rev. Jim Rehnberg, the ceremony was filled with lots of laughs and very moving. I loved the triumphant moment as Jean & Jack were announced at the end as they walked back down the aisle.
The reception kicked off with some great toasts. First, Jean’s father, Li, then her brother, William and finally Jack’s sister Elyse. After dinner we moved to the ballroom for some lovely first dances with parents and a dance with the couple before the dance party commenced!

Thanks again to Jean and Jack for letting us document your day and being wonderful to work with!
