I met Deirdre and Phil at a coffee shop in the in the West Loop called Sawada. After catching up over drinks we headed out for a walking tour around Chicago’s hottest neighborhood. We started at the popular Green Street Smoked Meats and some of the nearby alleys. After our tour through the exposed brick and cobblestone we made our way toward the Riverwalk area.
We stopped for an outfit change and continued our walking tour at Gibson’s Italia. From there we headed across the river on Lake Street and across Orleans Street toward Wolf Point West. After a short rain pause we finished the session during “blue hour” as the building lights came on – which is always my favorite!
