Liz and Bill were married at Sarabande, a new Chicago loft style venue from the group that runs Ovation and Greenhouse Loft.
I started with Liz at the Ambassador Hotel downtown while Justin was with Bill at the couple’s home in Lincoln Park.
After a first look outside the hotel we traveled to Lincoln Park with the couple’s family for some portraits and family photos. Then it was time to go to Sarabande for wedding party photos and the rest of the day.
The couple’s friend Chris did a great job with the ceremony. Bill’s mother Heather spoke during the ceremony and shared some very helpful advice on relationships and I enjoyed hearing The Gottmans quoted. The pure joy as Liz and Bill walked back down the aisle together was so fun!
Following the ceremony, we headed outside for some portraits with the Rolls Royce. After cocktail hour the room flipped for dinner. Liz and Bill made a grand entrance down the middle then we heard several good toasts from friends and family.
First dances were on the other side of the venue. Liz’s first dance with her father started with a very cute video from her childhood. And Liz’s mom doing the Hot To Go! dance was another highlight.
