I always recommend starting engagement sessions with drinks, and I usually tell couples to pick locations with meaning. So Kincade’s in Lincoln Park was a perfect two-for-one starting location, since that’s where they first met.

After Kincades, we traveled to the Lincoln Park Zoo where Ryan proposed last winter. Then we stopped at the The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. They are a couple of my favorite engagement session locations in the city, and we got some nice light too!
As the sun went down, we headed to an amazing little spot on the Chicago River – a boat house where Christine is a rowing instructor. The view down the river of the city from there is pretty awesome. Finally, we headed to the top of the Whole Foods parking deck for a few night skyline pictures.

Christine & Ryan, I had so much fun working with you! I’m already looking forward to October!
