Room 1520, located in the West Loop, is a modern urban loft style wedding venue with minimalistic white finishes and open floor plan.
With its chic, yet industrial vibe, Room 1520 is a bit different than many of Chicago's other loft style wedding venues. Featuring a clean white interior with Italian chandeliers the space creates a romantic atmosphere. The open floor plan is capable of accommodating up to 150 for seated dinner with room for a dance floor and cocktail area. A well-stocked vintage bar and impressive columns define the space.
At the front of the venue you'll find a small entrance area with lounge seating options. A modern steel staircase leads guests into the space. Additionally, the rental fee includes a 650-sq. ft. suite that can be used for getting ready or staying hidden before the ceremony starts. Outdoors there is a small private courtyard space for photos and on the roof you'll find a breathtaking skyline view.

WHY WE LOVE IT
We love that Room 1520 is a blank canvas, in a good way! Add candles for a moody atmosphere, add uplighting for an incredible looking reception space. This space can become whatever you want!
Pro Tip: One question I tend to ask at every wedding venue is "can we get on the roof?" Room 1520 always says YES! Their rooftop offers a great city skyline view, without leaving the venue. We can pop up there during cocktail hour for sunset or later in the evening for some twilight shots.
