City View Loft, located in the West Town neighborhood, is a classic Chicago-style brick and timber loft space along with a dramatic ceremony space, also known as Kitchen Chicago.
With 13 foot timber ceilings and picturesque skyline views, City View Loft earns its name from the wall of windows showcasing a skyline view that stretches from Hancock Center to Sears (Willis) Tower and everything in between. Perfectly sized for 100-150 guest ceremonies and seated receptions, this venue is a great alternative to some of the larger industrial loft spaces in Chicago.
The Kitchen Chicago ceremony space features a dramatic vaulted cathedral ceiling with exposed steel trusses and ductwork. Beautiful daylight floods the space in the afternoons. A small balcony at the back of the ceremony space gives photographers a great perch to make a beautiful scene-setting image while you walk back down the aisle.

WHY WE LOVE IT
I first shot in this space years ago, when it was only the Kitchen Chicago space on the second floor and loved it immediately. With the addition of the loft space on the third floor it's even better! I love making first dance photos with the skyline in the background, that view never gets old.
Pro Tip: There's a small area just around the corner from the main entrance that can work for small family groups, but I still recommend scheduling some time at other downtown locations for wedding party portraits and pictures with your spouse.
