InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile, located in the heart of Chicago's Magnificent Mile, is an exquisite downtown hotel with multiple ballrooms including the elliptical-shaped Grand Ballroom.

InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile is conveniently located in one of the most popular stretches of Michigan Ave. in the city. With several different spaces available, including the Renaissance Ballroom, King Arthur Court Ballroom, Avenue Ballroom, Empire Ballroom and the Grand Ballroom.

The 6-ton Baccarat crystal chandelier (the largest in North America) is the centerpiece of the lavish two-story Grand Ballroom. Marble columns, opulent gold trim and ornate fixtures define the space. A sweeping balcony wraps more than 300 degrees around the room. The Grand Ballroom can accommodate seated dinners for up to 400 guests.

The Renaissance Ballroom features 22' ceilings and can accommodate up to 250 guests for dinner and dancing.  The Avenue Ballroom offers a more contemporary option, with space for up to 260 guests.

Your out-of-town guests will love exploring Michigan Ave. and its popular shopping destinations. Catering Sales Manager, Tara Hubbard is one of the best in the business and you'll love working with her.

WHY WE LOVE IT

It's rare to be able to have a Chicago wedding without transportation for the wedding party. With separate venues for ceremonies and receptions, plus additional portrait locations, getting around can be the most challenging part of the day. We love being able to do a first look easily next to the side entrance and take a short walk to several of most popular portrait locations. We always love shooting in spaces with balconies, and the Grand Ballroom here is a great one!
Pro Tip: The Hotel's Presidential Suite is probably my favorite getting ready space in the city. If it's not already included in your wedding package, I definitely recommend upgrading. It's also a good place to come back to during the day if there's any "down time" between portraits and ceremony.
