Kendyll and Chris suggested start their engagement session in their neighborhood on the 606 Trail near Wicker Park. I’ve shot a few family photos there, but this was my first time taking a couple along the Bloomingdale Trail. We did a down and back lap to Park No. 567 and the Spire Garden near Milwaukee and Leavitt St. On our way back the sun started peeking though and we got a nice blue sky. I loved that we got the El Train in the background at one point.

From there we headed downtown to Lurie Garden and Millennium Park. We managed to get the last bit of fall color on the trees before winter. We finished the evening with a gorgeous sunset and skyline view from Adler Planetarium. Nights, views and great couples like these two make shooting in Chicago the best!

Can’t wait to see you two at Artifact Events for your wedding next fall!
